History

As the Principal of this prestigious institution, I take immense pride in addressing you with these touchy notes through what I could extend wider information on our institution.

Our school had its inception in the year 1982. Sisters of the congregation of Mother of Carmel commenced this school. Founder of our school is St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara and our heavenly patroness is Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

The school targets on the Holistic development of the students. It not only imparts knowledge but sees to the spiritual, moral and physical well-being of the students entrusted to its care. This house of education which started only with 24 students has grown now to strength of nearly 3000 students and 120 faculty members. Vimal Jyothi is always blessed with Golden set of students, so gifted, talented and with high caliber.

They range high both in curricular and co-curricular activities. They are always engaged with authentic learning opportunities which in turn developed creativity and confidence, in them and resulted as successful individuals. The Academic excellences of our students are being proved by the X and XII board examination result every year.

Our school has a heavenly atmosphere. We are sure that the people who enter in and out feel the presence of God and this has been the experience of many. It has an excellent infra structure with well-equipped laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science. Our school library is a real treasure house which caters to the students need. It has a collection of more than 7,250 volumes.

Activity based learning using technology and enquiry is followed to relate concepts to students everyday lives. Our students are being given ample opportunities to develop their extracurricular activities like music, dance, yoga, karate, sports and games. We mould and make self-reliant individuals and inspire them to embrace challenges. They excel as champions in the intra and inter school competitions and prove their caliber.
